1. Governing body The School is functioning under a charitable Society registered in the name of Kerala State Scheduled Tribes Residential Educational Society under the governing of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department. The activities of this Society are controlled and managed by the governing body under the Principal Secretary of State Scheduled Tribes Development Department as the chairman. The District collector is also a member of the governing body. The Project officer, Principal, Headmistress and Senior Superintendent are also members of this governing body. 2.Executive Committee At the district level, the activities are managed by the District Level Executive Committee with the District Collector as Chairman and the Project Officer/tribal Development Officer as Convener. Below is the information about the members of the Executive Committee. Admission is done in the 6th standard onwards through a entrance examination during the last days may or at the beginning of June. 334 children are allowed to stay and study from classes 6 to 10 with two division in each standard. Higher Secondary batch Humanities has been sanctioned in the School from the academic year 2020-21. A batch of 30 children was allotted. At present 50 children are admitted as per the instruction of the director of Scheduled Tribes Development department. Currently our school could be accommodate 400 children including 242 children in high School Section and 92 in higher Secondary class wise details of the student at presently studying in our school is given below. Hostel Details (Infrastructure) Hostel infrastructure typically includes Various facilities that support student’s educational, physical, and emotional development shared rooms and dormitories with beds study tables and chairs provided with enough storage space for keeping students luggage and things. Clean, hygienic bathroom are there with accessible facilities. Lounge, study hall and dining halls are there with ample facilities. Regarding the Security 24/7 Surveillance Secure entry and exit point in five floors. Inbuilt fire safety equipment is also there. For the Primary medical care, in-house nurse is there with access to nearby medical facilities. Then balanced and nutritious meals, are provided with diverse dietary needs of the students especially girl children. Who are suffering from anemia and Malnutrition additionally. Regular snack provisions also provided.

The School was Started in 2000 as per Govt. Order No. (MS) 72/2000/SCSTDD with the aim  overall development of Tribal Students. 300 Students are studying in this school from 6th Std to 10th Std including  150 boys and 150 girls. The school is working under the supervision An Executive committee chaired by Hon. District Collector. Scheduled Tribes Development Department  is  running the school with the financial assistance of NESTS ( National Educational Society for Tribal Students ) under Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MOTA). The school is switching over to CBSE Syllabus. During the  academic year 2024-25  6th  std   is changed to CBSE Syllabus. From the academic year 2011-12 onwards institution is attaining the “ Full pass”  in S.S.L.C. Exam. The Last Year 6 Students got Full A+ and 9 students got 9 A+ in S.S.L.C. Exam. It is a great achievement that Former students are working in reputed posts in various state and central govt. Departments. The School is changing  the students as a ideal citizen and playing a great role to social engineering of a marginalised society into main stream.
